ARSENAL head coach Jonas Eidevall declared “I believe we can win every game we go into” after seeing his side come from behind to beat West Ham 3-1 on Sunday and set a new Women’s Super League record of 13 successive wins.

And few will back against that winning run stretching to 14 against the Foxes this Sunday when the Gunners travel to the King Power Stadium to face a Leicester City squad stuck at the bottom of the table.

Eidevall admitted Arsenal “were sloppy and made mistakes” against West Ham. It was a defensive mix-up that allowed the Hammers to take the lead at Meadow Park – Dagny Brynjarsdottir tapping home to end the Gunners’ record-breaking league run of 10 consecutive clean sheets.

Substitute Jordan Nobbs, on for injured captain Kim Little, equalised with half-time approaching, before goals from Stina Blackstenius and Frida Maanum completed the comeback win.

Arsenal go into this weekend second in the table, but will be eyeing top spot with leaders Manchester United taking on third-place Chelsea.
