• JUSTIN Schlosberg’s article (The Tory press undermines democracy, May 25) is the most honest, factual comment on the current state of political affairs in this country I have seen expressed.

I would like to see this article given national coverage with immediate effect. The UK needs to be alerted to these facts. We are sleep-walking into the election on June 8.
