We are excited to be representing this newly redrawn ward

Friday, 13th May

• WE would like to send our thanks to the voters of Bloomsbury ward for their support in the May 5 election.

We are particularly excited to be representing the newly redrawn ward that includes streets north of Tavistock Place and those south of Great Russell Street.

We are determined to use our renewed local mandate continuing to make our streets safer, greening the area and investing in local parks, and fighting for affordable housing south of the Euston Road, including at the Cleveland Street Workhouse site where we have previously stood against developers’ attempts to remove affordable housing.

We know the area is experiencing a crime and drugs problem and we will be working with the police and council to address this issue.

We also want to ensure residents access the £2million cost of living fund pledged within the Camden Labour manifesto to help them gain support where national government is failing to act.

And we are looking forward to working on cross-border issues with our Labour colleagues next door in Westminster, which we are particularly glad to see has returned a Labour council for the first time.
