A CAT gatecrashed Camden’s first remote working council meeting, seemingly with more interest in the committee’s chairwoman than the hot topic of whether a new supermarket would include cargo cycle parking.

As councillors and planning officers discussed the overhaul of the Morrisons supermarket site in Chalk Farm, Councillor Heather Johnson, chairing the session this evening (Thursday), found herself in a surprise clinch with her pet.

The meeting was the first to be held during the coronavirus lockdown.
