THERE’S no doubt who are the borough’s best bouncers after primary school teams from Kentish Town and Gospel Oak were crowned Basketball champs.

The courts at the Talacre Community Sports Centre in Kentish Town hosted a showcase of dribbling and net-swooshing skills as 12 schools each entered a boys and a girls team into the Camden Schools Sports Association (CSSA) Basketball Championship.

As the pulsating action came to an end, it was the boys team from Kentish Town School in Islip Street and the girls’ team from Gospel Oak School in Mansfield Road who were cheering the loudest as they scooped up their respective winners’ shields.

In a tremendous team effort, the CSSA organise the event in partnership with Camden Council’s Sport and Physical Activity Service and NVQ students.
