I’m 87 and have to walk down 35 steps with my rubbish before I even get to our front door. Our two bins are in a very sturdy, roofed, and locked bin shed. We are not bothered by fly-tipping or vermin. So, Veolia, please help by leaving the bin lids off.

Our waste collectors may be men, mostly, but who takes the rubbish out to the bins? Probably, mostly women… many of whom are elderly, some pregnant, and some incapacitated.
