A two minute ceremony and then a dive in the pool: Bioux Hayes marries Kitty Bang Bang in Las Vegas

IT must be one of the shortest and most unorthodox weddings in history.

One of Camden Town’s most rock ’n’ roll couples, Bioux Hayes and fiancée Kathryn McLaughlin, aka burlesque dancer Kitty Bang Bang, were married in just two minutes before their rag-tag bunch of Broadway performers and burlesque entertainer guests plunged into the pool at their hedonistic Vegas wedding.

Event producer Bioux and Kitty hit Sin City with a bang, ending their ceremony with a Queen sing-a-long, and biting into a wedding cake adorned with skulls, black hearts and emblazoned with the words “Till death do us part”.

The couple, who met in the Dublin Castle pub and live in Primrose Hill, can often be spotted driving through Camden on their motorbikes. They opted for Vegas, said Bioux, as it was Kitty’s “spiritual home”.

Bioux, 42, proposed in the rain at they stood by the River Seine on a trip to Paris for Kitty’s 29th birthday. Last week, they decamped to Las Vegas for a poolside ceremony, with Bioux dressed in a white suit to match Kitty’s bombshell fishtail white dress.

Bioux said: “The wedding guests included several Broadway performers and everyone sang Somebody To Love by Queen. We had a two-minute ceremony, then we all hit the pool.”

Bioux added: “Several Miss Exotic Worlds attended. Many guests were at the Burlesque Hall of Fame – sword swallowers and fire performers.”
