Boy was seriously injured while riding bike over ‘designated crossing’
A TWELVE year old boy has been seriously injured in a motorbike hit and run.
The boy was riding his bicycle across a “designated crossing” at the Brecknock Road junction with Torriano Avenue on Saturday just after 2pm, according to police.
“He was struck by the motorcycle, which failed to stop at the scene,” the Met said.
The boy was taken to hospital for treatment and is today recovering at home.
Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision, or the events surrounding the collision, to contact them on 020 7230 1036.
