Tulip Siddiq should remember she, too, is an MP

Thursday, 11th April 2019

• TULIP Siddiq says that the United Kingdom is an international laughing stock and wrote that she has no faith “that MPs, left to their own devices,” can find a way through the mess (Letters, April 4).

May I respectfully remind her that she is one of them. If she feels that passionately about it maybe she should resign and let someone replace her.

Doubt if she will, of course, as her post holds too many benefits, like big salary and expenses, including a creche in parliament.
