Try saying ‘children with SEN’
Thursday, 9th March 2017
• I WAS appalled to read a letter from Peter Sprinz (In pupils’ interests, March 2) referring to “SEN children”.
Way back in the early 1990s we established the acceptance that children are not the Special Educational Needs, they just need them from the society they live in.
It’s so simple and so few words but so far from the implication.
Just try “children with SEN”.
