Trouble with store trolleys

Sainsbury’s in Camden Road
• TO follow on from Lester May’s October 6 letter regarding the disastrous state of the Camden Town Sainsbury, I would like to add to the list of woes and inadequacies the situation regarding trolleys.
There are often no trolleys at all to be had and one needs to wait for a customer to come out and unload to be able to get one. When there are trolleys they are always jammed in such a way that they are impossible to disentangle.
I have asked to speak to the manager on various occasions and I am always told by whoever comes as the “manager” that new trolleys have been ordered.
On one occasion the “manager”, when challenged as to why this problem did not exist in the other supermarkets, said that this was due to the “type” of people who came to the Camden Sainsbury.
Staff inside the store are always helpful and do their best to help find products in the complete anarchy on the aisles. They are sympathetic but have to bear the brunt of the customers’ frustrations.
