Traffic changes pay no heed to people who live here
Thursday, 29th October 2020
• I SEE that Camden Council are making changes in Museum Street, in Bloomsbury, to give preference to people over motor vehicles; Museum Street has commercial frontages.
In adjacent roads – Bury Place and Little Russell Street – Camden has made changes which give greater priority to motor vehicles at the expense of people; these roads have primarily residential frontages.
It’s yet another example of Camden thinking that the brief pleasure of visitors passing through the area is more important than the physical and mental health of those of us who live here round the clock.
