CAMDEN Town WFC wrapped up their 2025 fixtures in spectacular style on Sunday when they netted the club’s biggest win in recent history.

New signing Ginny Somers delivered a truly outstanding performance as she scored five goals in a 12-0 victory over Soccer Elite at the Maurice Rebak Stadium in North Finchley.

Maria Paz Vera chipped in with two more, while Anna Kimberley, Maxine Borden, Shanice Etherington, Megan Kapadia and Connie Howarth also all found the back of the net.

The result leaves Town fifth in Division One North of the London & South East Regional League – 17 points behind leaders Hammersmith but crucially with four games in hand.

“I’m incredibly pleased with the players,” said manager Harry Sherman after the game. “Their professionalism, attitude and quality on the pitch was outstanding from the first minute to the last. We moved the ball well, were ruthless when chances came, and stayed focused throughout.

“Performances like that don’t happen by accident, they’re the result of hard work every week. I’m proud of the group and the standards they continue to set.”
