STRIKER Ramon Chaves struck twice as Crouch End Rangers continued their great start to the season with a third win on the spin in Division One.
Taking on a Dinamo Dorigo side still searching for their first points of the new campaign, Rangers went ahead on the stroke of half time when Chaves scored from the penalty spot following a handball in the area.
Rangers doubled their lead with the pick of the goals as Tom O’Donnell hit a beautiful, curled, cross to the far post for Declan Taylor to prod home from close range.
Taylor then turned provider as his corner was powered home by Harouna Camara, before Chaves grabbed his second of the game.
Dinamo pulled a goal back late on, but it did little to dent the Rangers’ celebrations as they secured a 4-1 victory.
Elsewhere, AFC Camden Borough came from behind to net their first point of the season with a 1-1 draw against The Hurricanes.
Borough had a shaky start and soon found themselves a goal down to a chipped effort goalkeeper Gigi Englezou could do little about.
Defender Alex Vasconcellos showed great bravery and courage to keep Borough in the game, staying on the pitch despite being injured as all three substitutes had been used.
Shot-stopper Englezou played his part with two astonishing saves late on. Their efforts were rewarded late on when Ashley Petterson’s long throw found Jamie King, who headed home to salvage a point.
In Division Two, Matthew Kemp scored twice as London Badgers drew 2-2 in their top-of-the-table clash against GYRO.
