• THEY say a week is a long time in politics. That certainly seems to be true this week, with Brexit secretary Dominic Raab making a late-night run to Brussels followed by a night of speculation as an agreement was announced and then unannounced time and again.

With Theresa May in Brussels on Wednesday trying to negotiate a deal with Europe while her cabinet, party and partners in the DUP are in disagreement about almost every element of what is being negotiated, it’s hard to see what can come out of this latest round of talks.

That is why this weekend, on Saturday October 20, thousands of people will be marching on parliament to demand a people’s vote to clear up this mess. I will be joining people from all over the country to demand that people be given the final say on the Brexit deal.

I urge other Camden residents to join us. I hope the government take notice and support our calls for a people’s vote with the option to remain.
