• IT was heartening to read of the not-for-profit group, Camley Street Sustainability Zone (CSSZ), which wants to set up an industrial district in King’s Cross, as well as 700 rent-capped, truly affordable homes (Firms’ alternative vision of jobs, homes… and no developers, February 16).

We need much more manufacturing industry in London, especially in areas like King’s Cross, with people producing things here instead of importing them from abroad all the time.

The added bonus, as this group rightly says, is that it will create twice the number of jobs currently here.

This scheme should be fully supported.
