This could be our last chance to make sure councillors listen to our community

Thursday, 15th November 2018

• TO everyone who lives and works near Swiss Cottage Open Space, to all those who use and enjoy the green space, library, leisure centre, Hampstead Theatre, the market, community centres and all that the heart of our community has to offer local people and visitors from far and wide, please do attend the public planning committee meeting tonight (Thursday November 15) for a full hearing on the 100 Avenue Road Construction Management Plan.

Your presence will help support our councillors make the right decision – that developers Essential Living do not send their massive construction lorries through Winchester Road, Eton Avenue pedestrian market area, and our green space for the next three to four years to build their 24-storey high-rise development right next to the green.

Transport for London will be attending and we hope to make the sensible case for construction access to the site be solely from TfL’s five-lane A41 gyratory in front of the building, to avoid impact to and keep our community and amenity safe from harm. All welcome! This could be our last chance to make sure councillors listen to our community.

• 100 Avenue Road CMP Planning Committee meeting, Thursday November15, 6.30pm, Crowndale Centre, 218 Eversholt Street, NW1 1BD (Mornington Crescent tube).
