• THE banning of cars is an interesting idea: added to this should be the banning of motorbikes, (Bid to close all Camden roads to cars for three months every year, October 10).

Motorbikes are running to and from The Doctors Laboratory in Flaxman Terrace 24/7. Most have been manipulated to generate maximum noise and pollution.

As a result over 200 Camden inhabitants are exposed to health-threatening pollution night and day. Camden and the Doctors Laboratory never asked Camden residents if they would accept 24/7 deliveries.

If Camden would mandate the replacement of motorbikes by bicycles it would reduce killer particles that we are forced to absorb. A radical decision is needed to make our air fit to breathe.
