They could rename the pub after the Marlon Brando film

The Oxford pub in Kentish Town
• THAT the Oxford pub in Kentish Town is looking for a new name when it reopens in the new year is interesting, and one has to agree that it should not be a silly one, (Save us from ‘The Parakeet’, December 1).
Its one small claim to fame is that it was where Marlon Brando, who was appearing in The Nightcomers, a prequel to Henry James’s Turn of the Screw that was being filmed at the time in 1971, in which he was portrayed as an Irish gardener, called in so that he could get help from the locals in acquiring an Irish accent.
The Godfather might be too much but The Nightcomer might not be too much as a new name and would recall the visit from such a celebrity.
