• ON Wednesday June 29 notices were placed in Argyle Square and Argyle Walk advising of the intended felling of a tree in the rear garden of 35 Argyle Square, a council-owned property within a conservation area.

Comments were invited, to be submitted by July 23. However the tree had already been removed, days before these notices were displayed. You can imagine the comments we’d like to make.
