They are digging up the road and lack of planning makes it a nightmare

Thursday, 16th July 2020

• SF STEFAN will begin digging up Dennington Park Road in West Hampstead to lay ultra-fast broadband on Thursday July 16.

They will do the road in two halves, from July 16-21 and from July 22-27. They are also digging up Sandwell Crescent – two roads down – from July 20-24.

Dennington Park Road currently has 16 cars parked on the section that closes on Thursday – with some empty spaces. Sandwell Crescent isn’t very big but must have space for a dozen cars.

By doing these two roads at once they are turning a difficult situation into a nightmare. Who in Camden Council decided this was a good idea? Or is this just another case of motorist-bashing?
