There’s still time to reconsider the Chalk Farm development
Thursday, 1st February 2018
• I HAVE owned an apartment in Adelaide Road not far from the Bridge Approach Road for over 20 years, yet at no time was I asked for my opinion of the Chalk Farm development, which I would have opposed very strongly.
I’ve appreciated the small businesses by the station and they’ve been a part of the community for as long as I can remember. The design of the buildings is simply awful in this day and age when there are some lovely buildings around.
And the prospect of increased traffic and sheer numbers of people, to say nothing of where they might park, is daunting, I fear will have a real impact on the quality of life for all those living nearby. If there is still time to make the council reconsider I would like to join in.
