Terry McLarty
• I WOULD like to say many thanks for publishing the story on my brother Terry McLarty (‘Beep beep!’ Tributes to ‘Big T’, March 9).
Terry was a park groundsman at Cantelowes open space in Camden Town where he was known as “Big T”.
As a brother he was larger than life, always havin’ fun and – yes loved his music, like the rest of us. And he was always loved in the family. He was one of three brothers born in Tooting, south west London.
I am the oldest of the three, but I’ve lived in Plymouth for 15 years now. But I always get back in Tooting for my mum’s birthday in August.
There is to be a memorial bench for him and I will visit the park and members of staff there and maybe friends who got to know him. That will be in August.
