• ON the face of it, the installation of bike hangars is a really good idea because it attracts people to cycle and safely store their bikes.

But on the road right in front of the very popular St Dominic’s Priory in Gospel Oak, where hearses and mourners, bridal cars and entourage would have to park in front and behind it? Not the most pleasant of sights for people on the saddest of days and the happiest of days.

There are other suitable places in the very near vicinity. So please, Camden, show some compassion and consideration for those people in the community who worship at St Dominic’s.
