There were no problems at the vaccination centre for me

Thursday, 28th January 2021

• I’M pleased to say that when going for my vaccination any teething problems with the patient flow had evidently been sorted out.

I took care to arrive just five minutes before my appointment; there was no queue to enter, I was guided through well-organised, socially-distanced, space to sit and fill in a form for consent, then five minutes later got the injection in an individual booth.

The required 15-minute wait after the injection was again in a well socially distanced area and then I was guided out through a separate exit.

Everyone wore masks and used hand cleaner and I saw that surfaces etc were also cleaned between patients. I thank and congratulate the NHS staff and volunteers who have taken such care to organise this service.
