There is one way to save money in Camden…

Thursday, 18th October 2018

• IN the latest issue of Camden’s free rubbish sheet, the council says it continues “to face a financial challenge and have to make tough long-term decisions about where we invest our money”.

Well, I have one way to save: ditch the free mag. We get four in our building and three go directly into recycling. It has been that way ever since they dropped through our letter box, no matter who resides in the building. (I’ve been here since 1986.)

I’m sure other buildings are the same. I don’t know of anyone in the borough who takes the time to even look through it. It states in the publication that it costs 15p per copy to produce; multiply that by the number of homes in Camden and then think what the council could do with that money!
