Rubbish mounting up in the afternoon in Belsize Village

• IT seems that I have to confirm that the photo you printed with my letter (A large rubbish site of restaurant waste, August 6) was taken in the late afternoon.

For weeks there has been a long row of bins with flies swarming and bags leaking on the ground.

One of the people who is responsible for this is claiming on social media there was only one morning it was like it and disputing the time the photo was taken.

This is absurd. Many residents have been taking photos and videos and are complaining to Camden Council. Everyone who has walked past over the last few weeks will have seen and smelt it.

It has created an eyesore and health hazard and despite claims being made on social media it has done nothing to stop some fly-tipping along Belsize Lane.
