Just when Kentish Town tube station is about to shut for “up to a year”, simply to change two escalators, the bus-section of London Transport (who apparently don’t talk to the tube section) is planning to close the north-bound stop at that point for the convenience of an unrelated construction plan.

And, in addition, other bus stops in Kentish Town Road are currently shut turn-by-turn, since this month, of all months, has been chosen as the moment to dig up the high street substantially on both sides to install fibre-optic cabling.
