The thought of all those HS2 heavy goods vehicles fills me with dread

• IT is my understanding that HS2, will not provide road traffic marshals to make it safe for the children going to the many junior and primary schools in Somers Town from the Regent’s Park estate.
Up to 100 heavy goods lorries a day will be thundering along the path these little kids will be using, some of these streets will see HGVs every two to three minutes. Eversholt Street, Hampstead Road, Robert Street, Stanhope Street, Ampthill, Barnby Street – these are some of the roads those lorries will be racing along.
It makes me sick to think about it.
