The “problem” occurred relentlessly each summer preceding the pandemic and looks to be continuing as a reason for the Swiss Cottage fountain being dry again in the holidays.

Those children who don’t have parents with the resources to go away depend on the joy of splashing about in this once delightful attraction designed for Camden, at great expense, by the landscape architects Gustafson Porter and Bowman.

Now it falls to the newly-elected Labour councillors Anna Burrage, Matt Cooper and Ajok Athian in the newly configured ward of Primrose Hill to ask on behalf of the people who voted them in for an explanation from Camden about this recurring problem.
