The Roundhouse in Chalk Farm [John Williams]
• I AM writing to express my growing frustration, and that of many other residents of Juniper Crescent estate, regarding the poor queue management at the Roundhouse.
The Roundhouse is a fantastic cultural hub, bringing a wealth of events and entertainment to London.
However the way queues are managed for these events often leads to long lines spilling out onto the street, causing significant disruption to residents’ access to Juniper Crescent.
These queues can become unruly, blocking pavements and driveways, making it difficult for residents to enter and exit their homes, particularly for those with mobility issues or prams.
The large crowds can create noise and litter problems, impacting the amenity of the neighbourhood.
While I understand the popularity of the Roundhouse events, I believe more can be done to ensure a better balance between the needs of the venue and the residents.
I urge the Roundhouse to take these concerns seriously and work with the local community to find a solution that allows everyone to enjoy this vibrant part of London.
