• THE Highgate Labour team have started canvassing for votes. The name of the Labour Party’s leader, Sir Keir Starmer, is not on this leaflet.

One of the candidates says: “Highgate gave my family sanctuary when they fled Iran…” That’s taking it for granted the voters are anti-Iranian.

Voters now have a chance to demand that former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn should have the party whip restored or “red walls” around Camden and Islington could fall.

What we need in parliament is a real voice of opposition and not the mere hecklers we have at the moment.
