• BT’s new The Phone Book – We’ve changed a lot since 1880 has just plopped with a thud through my letterbox.

In the light of identity theft, phishing, scamming, and the like, imagine my horror when despite having been ex-directory for decades, precisely to avoid such things, my phone number, name, and address have now been widely distributed across London without my permission.

How many more are affected? Scammers and identity thieves must think that all their Christmases have come at once.
