No paddling at Parly

• IF the City of London say they couldn’t fill the paddling pool at Parly Hill last week – the hottest week so far this summer – because of Thames Water’s terrible price hike, I might almost believe them!

But come on! The water is recyclable and the paddling pool is a widely used facility on Hampstead Heath. Or are they going to start charging us to get in?
