The Outer and Inner Circle at Regent’s Park could close to vehicles

• WOULDN’T it be a good idea to close the Outer and Inner Circle roads in the Regent’s Park to vehicles? Can there be anyone that needs to drive around them?

Yes, of course, exceptions for NHS staff currently allowed to park there and for people who actually live in the park terraces – but why would they need to drive very much?

But surely no one else needs to use these roads, which could and should in this emergency situation be reserved for cyclists, runners and walkers, that is, people taking permitted exercise.

We were shocked at the weekend to see so many large “trophy” vehicles, driving around seemingly taking the view that the request to stay at home except for exercise etc did not apply to them. Or does this require a regulation to be taken through parliament?
