• OUR best wishes to the young boy injured by Camden’s official mayor’s limo, (News in Brief, May 23). But why does Camden still use such a vehicle, polluting and dangerous as it is?

If the mayor cannot travel by safe, sustainable transport then Camden could use a pedal-powered taxi service.

The mayor in full regalia, getting off a bus, or a bike, would draw a lot of publicity: to the event itself, and also to what we all need to be doing in this climate emergency. Walk the talk!
