The local authority has a chance to show its resolve on green transport policy

Thursday, 11th February 2021

• THE Segro proposal for a “last-mile” hub will be a good test of the local planning authority’s resolve on “green” transport policy, (Neighbours fear new distribution centre will clog up Kentish Town backstreets, January 24).

All “last-mile” deliveries must be by cargo bike. This can be enforced through a planning condition, if planning permission is granted.

Please, Camden Council take note of this freely-available article on cargo bikes, which are up and running in Wandsworth.
