The levels of noise pollution has been reduced considerably

• BOOM cars and noisy motorcycles were a constant irritant before coronavirus Covid-19 traffic restrictions were imposed in the Arlington Road area of Camden Town.

Vehicles were intentionally modified to make as much noise as possible with sound systems that rattled our windows. For instance: motorcycles with no mufflers and cars and trucks with modified exhaust systems designed to make them louder etc.

Of course, there is no traffic policing today which is why speed limits are ignored, and why many motorists drive without insurance or a valid driving licence, hence hit-and-run drivers proliferate.

Now that northbound and southbound traffic has been restricted in this residential area, the levels of noise pollution has been reduced considerably.
