The key issues we will focus on

Friday, 13th May

• WE would like to thank all those who voted for the Liberal Democrats and are humbled to have the chance to represent our wards on Camden Council.

We will strive to repay the trust that you have placed in us.

As the main opposition group to Labour on Camden Council, the Lib Dems will aim to be both robust in holding the administration to account and constructive in our endeavours to make Camden a better place for all people.

Key issues we will focus on include:

— Action on climate change and on the cost of living crisis, where Camden needs to be more ambitious.

— Improving the waste and recycling collection service, particularly the collections from flats above shops.

— Improving the housing repair service, which all too often fails those in need.

— Ensuring proper oversight of the Community Investment Programme.

— Tackling homelessness and rough sleeping, where Camden is going backwards.

— Ensuring that the O2 Centre redevelopment only goes ahead if it is truly a good deal for the community.

Camden is a great place in many ways and in some respects the council is performing well; but it needs to do better, particularly in the areas highlighted.
