The Israeli government’s determination to acquire even more land is condemned across the world
Thursday, 9th July 2020
• I DON’T know what the Israel British Alliance is supposed to do, but I do know that I am shocked at the harsh and apparently supportive attitude of its director Michael McCann in relation to the Israeli government’s ongoing determination to acquire even more land, although universally condemned throughout the world and by the Geneva Conventions, (The linkage of Black Lives Matter to the Israeli/Palestinian conflict is a canard, July 2).
He provides the ammunition to stoke even more anti-Semitism and undo all that Sir Keir Starmer is trying to do to eradicate it from the Labour Party.
Mr McCann has a lot to answer for, likewise Donald Trump with his provocative moving of the American embassy to Jerusalem, despite all the efforts of his predecessors to try to broker a peace deal between Palestine and Israel.
Similarly the oft-reported, brutish, actions of the Israeli military in shooting innocent adults and children and even peace workers is not “false news”.
And the information provided by those two writers from the International Jewish Anti-Zionist network (Sir Keir Starmer denies the truth by calling it a conspiracy theory, July 2) is even more shocking, yet somehow not surprising about this militaristic nation, hence the link to Black Lives Matter.
