• CONGRATULATIONS to Amit Shah for standing up to the council over lack of consultation about the cycle route on Haverstock Hill, (Man behind legal challenge ‘delighted’ as Haverstock Hill cycle lanes are cancelled, January 22).

I’m sure we are all in favour of walking and cycling but we need to remind councillors and council they must give the electorate transparency and consultation with any projects.
