• I AM disappointed, but not surprised, that Camden Council leader Georgia Gould has not had the good grace to personally thank the outgoing councillors – including those not in her party – who are not standing for election again.

At the last council meeting she selectively thanked a few councillors but that did not include all who chose not to stand again.

Some in her party, Labour, were unjustly and unfairly prevented from restanding as councillors and she has not expressed regret for this.

Does this imply that she does not recognise the hard work they gave the community, some for as long as 12 years, including as chairs of committees?
