The council has secured funding to refresh the Talacre Sports Centre

• ONE of the key priorities for Camden Labour is ensuring everyone in the borough has access to our high quality and popular leisure centres.
There were almost two million visits over the last year and 36,177 registered members, which has doubled since 2010. This is making an important contribution to a healthy Camden, a key policy priority for us as a Labour council.
I am pleased to report that we have secured funding to refresh Talacre Sports Centre in Kentish Town. We’ll not only be improving the excellent facilities there but will provide a mezzanine floor so we can offer more popular classes.
We’ll also continue our concessionary memberships so that sports and fitness remain open to all.
