‘Kentish Town City Farm is a valuable community asset’
• THE Kentish Town City Farm has become over the years a valuable community asset, (Staff given redundancy warnings amid Kentish Town City Farm cash crisis, April 18).
It allows young people living in an urban environment to have the opportunity to see farm animals up close. Families come with their children and visits are arranged for school children.
The farm plays such an important role in Camden. I myself enjoyed taking my grandchildren to see the animals. It so excited them.
It is vitally important that everything possible is done to ensure the continued existence of the farm as a fully-staffed and well-run project servicing the wider community.
