Cycle hangars by the corner of Priory Road and Canfield Gardens, NW6
Edited extracts from letter to Camden Council
• “I WILL look into who can assist you and get back to you as soon as I can.” [officer reply of October 14 2021].
It is… New Year’s Eve 2021 and you have done nothing to assist our complaint.
Your arrogance and that of this council is extraordinary. The restrained contempt the council has for the public is obvious.
We are certain that this council’s blindingly self-justifying assumptions for imposing five cycle hangars by the corner of Priory Road and Canfield Gardens NW6 lacked logic let alone common sense.
Our objections… stand despite the council’s technocratic and undemocratic argument which you do not dare to defend here, if at all.

Priory Road before the cycle hangars
To date, this council has sat smugly by thinking they have got away with their “decision” to impose two cycle hangars by 84 Priory Road, NW6, unmuddied by the realities of that unaccountable decision.
A single bike (probably a council “plant”) has sat, unused, for 12 months in the two cycle hangars – yes two!
Why any, let alone two large steel cages outside 84 Priory Road… since their imposition under cover of darkness… on December 16 2020?
The other occupants of your controversial cycle hangars are dog turds, graffiti and general litter as you are aware. Well done the council.
What important work you do here. I refer the reader to “before” and “after” photos of your “good work”.
For you all, just unelected administrators, the best disinfectant is sunshine. Expect a thorough dose of it from the High Court.
After all, you’ve had more than sufficient time to reply to this citizen… you are advised to seek proper legal advice.
