• I WOULD like to thank the three strangers who have recently helped me.

First, the lady who gave me her scarf as I was waiting, in the freezing cold at night, for the C11 bus outside the Royal Free Hospital on March 29.

Second, the man who carried my shopping home for me from near the C11 bus stop on the night of April 7.

Third, the man who came to the St Dominic’s Jumble sale last Saturday and gave me his spare walker.
