Thanks for a great light show

Friday, 6th December 2019

• THERE was a great festive atmosphere on Saturday evening when we all gathered under the canopy by Kentish Town tube station to witness the switching-on ceremony of our Christmas lights in Kentish Town Road.

Delicious free food was laid out, accompanied by live music, and it was great to see the joyfulness that comes with the gathering of a great community at this time of the year.

We must pay tribute to Caroline Hill, chair of Kentish Town Road Action, who worked tirelessly in the preceding weeks and months, organising the event and the complicated commissioning of the lights almost single-handedly.

Thank you Caroline for all your hard work behind the scenes. We wish everyone season greetings and a Happy New Year.
