Dan Carrier helps stock up Streets Kitchen emergency food kitchen

• MY family and I would like to say an enormous thank you to the Camden New Journal and in particular your journalist Dan Carrier who has been rushing around delivering food and other items to those who need help during these surreal times.

When we were all told to stay at home we had already spent two weeks not daring to venture out as our son is severely disabled and was diagnosed with a brain tumour last October.

We did not know who to turn to for help and felt pretty alone. I reached out to the Camden New Journal and Dan has been there for us ever since!

He has been amazing and I am sure there are many others in the community who have had Dan’s friendly face appear several feet from their door bearing all kinds of wonderful things.

He has been a bright light at a particularly dark time. A big big thank you Dan. And an enormous hug.
