WATERWORKS have shut Chalk Farm Road both ways until Friday.
Diggers are in place as Thames Water replaces pipes next to Camden Lock bridge.
Vehicles coming up Camden High Street can turn right into Castlehaven Road. Traffic travelling south along Chalk Farm Road is being diverted down Hawley Street.
A Thames Water sign says the last day of the works is expected to be February 22 (Friday). Bus routes 31, 27, 24 and 168 are on diversion.
It said: “The work has to be done in this way as we’re making a new connection to our drinking water network for a property in Chalk Farm Road. Our engineers are working hard to get their taps up and running and everything back to normal by Friday.”
