• IT would be interesting to know what are the statistics of people falling over on Transport for London’s electric buses because of their braking system.

Recently my companion and I were holding on, getting ready to get off the No 274 bus at Albert Terrace Primrose Hill when, as the bus was braking it jerked, causing my companion to fall backwards onto the floor of the bus.

She is badly bruised but, fortunately, with nothing broken.

I have completed a form on TfL’s website as I feel this probably happens a lot every day and maybe is not reported enough to TfL.
